Police have rescued a 10-year-old girl, Munni, from her house in Gadhwa district of Jharkhand, where she had been confined with a rope tied to her leg for the past five years. The family members of the victim cite her mental disease as the reason for keeping her tied up, claiming that she attempted to run from the house several times in the past when left free The victim has been admitted to a local hospital.
